The examination comprises two papers, namely Paper 1 and Paper 2. These examinations serve to evaluate the candidates' mastery of both Hindi and English languages, alongside their grasp of translation and language-related concepts.
Paper 1: This section adopts an objective format, encompassing questions related to General Hindi and General English. Within this paper, candidates' linguistic aptitude is put to the test, covering areas such as grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension, among others. For each incorrect response, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
Paper 2: Paper 2 adopts a subjective approach, focusing on the evaluation of translation skills. Here, candidates are tasked with the translation of passages from Hindi to English and vice versa. This paper serves to gauge the candidates' precision and effectiveness in carrying out accurate translations.
