SSC Stenographer 2023: The Staff Selection Commission has started the registration process for the SSC Stenographer Grade C exam for the recruitment years 2020, 2021, and 2022. The last date to apply will be October 21. Interested and eligible candidates can apply at ssc.nic.in.

The Staff Selection Commission will hold a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (to be intimated later) at Delhi only for making additions to the Select List of Grade C Stenographers of the following Services/Cadres:-

-Central Secretariat stenographers services
-Indian Foreign Service Branch (B) stenographers
-Armed Forces headquarters stenographers service
-Railway Board secretariat stenographers service
-Election Commission of India stenographers service

According to the schedule, candidates will be able to apply till October 21, 2023. The computer-based test is likely to be held in February-March 2024. The exact exam dates are yet to be announced by the commission. Candidates are advised to check the SSC official website for more information.

SSC Stenographer 2023: Vacancy Details

This recruitment drive will fill a total of 127 vacant seats for the recruitment year 2020, 134 vacant seats for 2021, and 36 vacant seats for 2022.

SSC Stenographer 2023: Educational Qualifications

Regarding the educational qualification, candidates are required to have successfully completed the 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board or University.

SSC Stenographer 2023: Exam Pattern

The SSC Steno Grade C examination will consist of three sections including Part A, Part B, and Part C. Part A will be conducted as a two-hour computer-based test. Part B will involve a shorthand skill test candidates will get 40 minutes for English and 55 minutes for Hindi. Part C will encompass the assessment of candidates' service records.

SSC Stenographer 2023: Where To Send Applications

Upon the submission of the online application form, candidates are required to send a printed copy of the same, along with all the required documents. These submissions should be sent through their respective Service/Cadre Controlling Authority to the following address: ‘The Regional Director, Staff Selection Commission (Northern Region), Block No.12, C.G.O. Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003.’ These submissions must reach the specified address by November 6, 2023.
