Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Medical Education and Research will end the application window for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG Counselling 2024 today, August 9. Eligible applicants who have not yet registered can apply for TN NEET UG counselling 2024 through the official website, tnmedicalselection.net.

Candidates would be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs 500 for government quota seats and Rs 1,000 for management quota seats. Scheduled Caste (SC), SC (Arunthathiyar), and Scheduled Tribe (ST) applicants from Tamil Nadu are exempt from paying the application fee.

Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024: Required documents

Applicants will need to upload the following papers while registering for counselling:

• NEET UG 2024 admit card and score card.

• Class 10 marksheet (both sides of certificate).

• Class 12 marksheet (both sides of certificate).

• HSC marksheet (both sides) or any other equivalent examination.

• Transfer certificate received after the realisation of HSC or equivalent courses.

• Certificate for proof of study from Class 6 to Class 12 for the candidates who have examined thoroughly in Tamil Nadu.

• Community certificate

• Nativity certificate (if applicable).

• Community certificate of either one of the parents

• A bonafide certificate from the Chief Educational Officer is compulsory for candidates who have studied Class 6 to 12 in Tamil Nadu government Schools for 7.5% special reservation

• Income certificate of parent for the candidates claiming fee exemption.

• Eligibility certificate obtained from the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Guindy, Chennai for the candidates of other universities/boards (except Tamil Nadu board, CBSE board, ISCE board).

• Court orders (if any).

• Additional supporting documents (if any).

• Linguistic Minority Certificate (Telugu and Malayalam), Christian Minority Certificate for applicants declaring management quota minority status

• NRI status of the financial supporter issued by the Indian Embassy of the respective country under their seal or OCI card for candidates claiming management quota NRI status

• Certificate of relationship between the NRI financial supporter and the applicants, valid Indian passport of the NRI financial supporter.

• NRE (Non-Resident External) bank account passbook of the financial supporter.

How to apply for TN NEET UG 2024 counselling?

Step 1: Visit the official website of TN at tnmedicalselection.net

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘UG courses’ tab and then select ‘MBBS/BDS’

Step 3: Now after this, click on the link to apply for the MBBS/BDS course under the government quota/management quota including NRI in Tamil Nadu medical/dental colleges 2024-2025 session

Step 4: Next, visit the online application tab and select new registration

Step 5: Now, register and log in with the generated credentials

Step 6: Fill out the application form and upload the necessary documents

Step 7: Make the payment and submit the form

Step 8: Download and take a printout of the confirmation page
