WBJEE Counselling 2024: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will release the seat allotment results for the mop-up phase of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) counselling 2024 today, August 9. Applicants who participated in the counselling can check the WBJEE seat allotment result 2024 by going to the official website of WBJEEB at wbjeeb.nic.in.
According to the counselling timetable, applicants must pay the seat acceptance fee and attend the designated college for document verification between August 9 and August 12. The seat acceptance cost is Rs 5,000, which can be paid with a credit card, debit card, UPI, or online banking.
WBJEE Counselling 2024: Mop-up round seat allotment rules
- The counselling agency stated that if an applicant is given a new seat in the mop-up round, their former seat, if any, will be automatically revoked, and the vacant seat will be given to other qualified applicants. The contender cannot reclaim their former seat.

- If an applicant paid the seat acceptance fee in a prior round and a new seat is given in the mop-up round, the fee paid will be considered for the new Institute.
- There will only be one mop-up round, the final round of WBJEE 2024 counselling administered by WBJEEB. Following that, the WBJEEB would give possession of all vacant seats to the competent authority for further action.
- Candidates who failed to obtain admission in round 1 or round 2 (due to allotment cancellation during document verification or being allotted in second or later choices) and were thus eligible for the mop-up round will be needed to complete the admission procedure (PI reporting) at the newly allotted Institute within the time frame specified.
- Students who received a fresh allotment in the mop-up Round must pay the seat acceptance fee, if not already paid, and download the allotment letter. The applicant will after that report to the designated Institute for physical document verification. If the documents are accepted, they must complete the admissions process by the specified timeframe.
