Tamil Nadu NMMS 2025: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) has begun distributing registration forms for the Tamil Nadu National means-cum-merit Scholarship Scheme Examination 2024-2025 (TN NMMS). The registration forms are accessible at the official website, apply1.tndge.org.

The DGE will hold the Tamil Nadu NMMS test on February 22, 2025. Students who pass will be granted a scholarship of Rs 12,000 each year. The price for registering with TN NMMS is Rs 50.

The scholarship exam is conducted for Class 8 students enrolled in Tamil Nadu government or government-aided schools.

Tamil Nadu NMMS 2025: Eligibility, question paper

Students wishing to take the NMMS test must be registered in state government, government-aided, or local body schools. To be qualified, the student's household income must be less than Rs 3,50,000.

The Tamil Nadu NMMS 2024 exam paper will be based on the syllabus for classes 7 and 8. The NMMS 2023-24 will be separated into two tests: the Mental Ability Test (MAT) and the Scholastic Ability Test (SAT).

Each test will include 90 multiple-choice questions. Each paper has a duration of 90 minutes. The mental ability test will assess students' nonverbal and vocal metacognitive abilities, such as reasoning and critical thinking. The SAT will assess candidates' understanding of science, social studies, and mathematics.
