TISSNET 2024: Tata Institute of Social Sciences has opted to offer admission to most of its postgraduate programs, excluding two, through the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate (CUET PG) 2024. However, for an MA in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations, and an MA in Organisation Development, Change, and Leadership, admission will be based on Common Admission Test (CAT) scores. Consequently, the TISSNET 2024 stands canceled.

This decision aligns with the Ministry of Education and University Grants Commission's directive to conduct CUET for postgraduate program admissions across central, state, and participating universities. The institute highlighted that CUET PG offers a comprehensive opportunity for all aspiring postgraduate students through a single window opportunity.

“The CUET (PG) provides a single-window opportunity for all Postgraduate students seeking admission to any of the Central Universities (CUs) or other participating organisations, including State Universities, Deemed to be Universities, and Private Universities across the country,” reads the official notification.

“In compliance with the above, the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), has decided that admission for the forthcoming Academic Session 2024-25 for all its Postgraduate Programmes will be based on the CUET (PG)-2024 scores, except for the following programmes, which will consider CAT scores,” it added.
