TN SSLC 10th Board Exam 2024: The Directorate of Government Examinations, Chennai, is scheduled to conduct the Tamil Nadu Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination from today, March 26. The Tamil Nadu class 10th exam will conclude on April 8. Candidates must bring the Tamil Nadu SSLC 2024 admit card on the day of the examination.

The TN SSLC 10th Board exam will commence at 10 AM and conclude at 1:15 PM. Within this timeframe, 10 minutes will be designated for reviewing the question paper, followed by 5 minutes for candidates to verify their particulars. Candidates will have 3 hours to write the examination.

A total of 9.38 lakh students are expected to take part in the examination, comprising 9.10 lakh students from 12,616 schools. Moreover, 28,827 students will independently sit for the exam, while 235 jail inmates are also expected to participate. According to the statement from the school education department, there will be 4,107 examination centers, with a contingent of 48,700 teachers enlisted to serve as invigilators.

In efforts to prevent cheating during exams, 4,591 roaming squads will be deployed on duty. Moreover, special monitoring teams, under the leadership of District Collectors, have been formed. These teams comprise senior education officers and officials from the revenue department.

TN SSLC 10th Board Exam 2024: Guidelines

- Candidates must bring a hard copy of the TN SSLC 10th Board Exam 2024 admit card on the day of the examination, along with valid ID proof

- Candidates are advised to arrive early at the examination center

- Read the entire question paper carefully before starting to write it

- Bring your required stationery

- Follow instructions from the invigilator

- Leave prohibited items like phones, smartwatch, calculators, and electronic gadgets outside

- Avoid cheating or talking to others during the exam

- Don't bring any notes or textbooks to the exam hall.
