TNEA Rank List 2025 Preparation Methodology
The TNEA 2025 rank list is meticulously prepared based on the scaled marks of candidates out of 200. The Class 12 marks submitted by candidates during TNEA counselling registration undergo a normalization process to ensure fairness across various examination boards. Maximum weightage in this calculation is given to Mathematics (100 marks), while Physics and Chemistry collectively account for the remaining 100 marks (50 for Physics + 50 for Chemistry). In instances where multiple candidates secure identical marks in the common merit list, a predefined inter-se-merit rule is applied to break the tie, prioritizing candidates based on a specific order.
