TS DSC Result 2024: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced on Monday that 11,062 teachers would be appointed by Dussehra following the release of the District Selection Committee (DSC) 2024 results. The General Rank List was announced at the State Secretariat alongside Cabinet ministers and senior officials from the education department.
The Chief Minister said that certificate verification for all selected candidates would be completed by Dasara, with appointment orders to be issued on October 9 during a ceremony at LB Stadium in Hyderabad, as reported by news agency IANS.
Approximately 2.45 lakh candidates participated in the DSC exam, held between July and August, to fill 11,062 teaching positions. Officials reported that 87.61 per cent of applicants appeared for the test, conducted between July 18 and August 5.
The examination covered various positions, including 2,629 school assistants, 727 language pundits, 182 physical education teachers, 220 school assistants (special educators), and 796 secondary grade teachers (special educators).
