TS TET 2024 Registration: The Telangana School Education Department is closing the online application window for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET or TG TET 2 2024) today, November 20. Applicants who have yet to apply for the exam can use the official website, tgtet2024.aptonline.in.
According to the timetable, TS TET hall tickets will be issued on December 26. The exam will start on January 1 and end on January 20. The release is expected for February 5, 2025. Papers will be given in two sessions: 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The application cost for other applicants is ₹750 per paper or ₹1,000 for both.
According to the exam notification, applicants who registered for the TG TET May/June 2024 examination but did not pass, as well as those who passed but wish to improve their marks, are not obliged to pay the forthcoming examination cost.
To take the exam, candidates must have a DElEd, DEd, BEd, Language Pandit, or similar qualifications. Applicants who are in their final years of these studies and have the necessary percentage of marks may also apply for the TS TET.
The exam takes place to determine the eligibility of teachers for class 1-8 teaching positions in Telangana's state government, mandal parishad, zila parishad, private aided, and private unaided schools.
There will be two papers in the TS TET 2024. The first paper is for teacher positions in grades 1 through 5, and the second paper is for those interested in teaching grades 6 through 8.
To pass the exam, students from the general category must score at least 60%.
Pass marks for BC category candidates are 50%, while SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates are 40%.
The TS TET pass certificate will be recognized for a lifetime. The Telangana government would give the TG TET score a 20% weightage in teacher recruitment.
