TSPSC Group 2 Exam: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has postponed the Group 2 exam to January 6 and 7, 2024 in view of the upcoming Telangana Assembly Elections. The TSPSC Group 2 exam has been rescheduled due to coinciding with the election notification date.

According to the official notification, the TSPSC Group 2 exam will now be conducted on January 6 and 7, 2024. The exam will be held in two shifts including the first shift will start from 10 am to 12:30 pm and the second shift will begin from 2:30 pm to 5 pm. Earlier, the TSPSC exam was scheduled to be held on November 2 and 3, 2023.

“The Commission after careful examination of the matter decided to reschedule the Group-II examination (Notification No: 28/2022) scheduled to be held on 2nd and 3rd November 2023 to 6th and 7th January 2024 in view of the examination date (3rd November) coinciding with the election notification date and since the critical administrative machinery will be preoccupied with election related activities,” reads the official notification.

The exam faced its second postponement. Originally, it was scheduled for August but had to be rescheduled due to candidate protests, as the dates coincided with other competitive examinations. 

This recruitment drive will fill up a total of 783 vacant posts in various departments under Group II Services. Candidates appearing for various TSPSC Group 2 positions will be selected through a written examination comprising four papers. To qualify for the exam, candidates are required to score a minimum of 40 percent. However, for candidates belonging to BC, the qualifying threshold is set at 35 percent. Meanwhile, SC, ST, and PH candidates need to attain a minimum of 30 percent to pass the examination.

TSPSC Group 2 Exam: Here’s How To Download

Step 1: Go to the official website– tspsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the link Group 2 Services Exam 2022 admit card on the homepage (once released).
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Now candidates will have to enter the required details on the portal.
Step 5: Click on the submit button.
Step 6: The TSPSC Group 2 Exam admit card will appear on the screen.
