UGC NET 2025 June session City Slip: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has delayed the release of the city intimation slip for the UGC NET 2025 June session. According to the initial schedule, the city slip—meant to inform candidates about their examination center locations—was expected to be published on June 15, 2025. However, as of now, there is no official announcement regarding a revised release date for the city slip.

Candidates appearing for the UGC NET June 2025 session are advised to stay updated by regularly visiting the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in. While the city slip remains pending, admit cards are expected to be released by June 21, 2025, which would be just a few days before the examination begins.

UGC NET June 2025 Exam Schedule:

As per the revised schedule, the UGC NET 2025 June session will be conducted from June 25 to June 29 across India. The examination will cover 85 subjects and be conducted in two shifts daily — the morning shift from 9 AM to 12 noon, and the afternoon shift from 3 PM to 6 PM.

The UGC NET is held twice a year (June and December) to determine the eligibility of Indian candidates for:

  • Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

  • Appointment as Assistant Professors

  • Admission to Ph.D. programs

How to Download the City Intimation Slip?

Once released, candidates can follow these steps:

  1. Visit ugcnet.nta.ac.in

  2. Click on “UGC NET June 2025 City Intimation Slip”

  3. Enter application number, date of birth, and security pin

  4. View and download the city slip

  5. Save a copy for future use
