UGC NET Result 2024 Delay: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the UGC NET June 2024 session results soon. However, the delay in the result declaration has left many students frustrated. Several candidates who appeared for the exam have voiced their concerns on the microblogging site X, questioning the reason behind the delay. Many users have expressed disappointment and anger over the prolonged wait for the results. Here are some of the reactions from the candidates.
Many candidates took the social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) to voice their grievances, demanding an update on the status of the results. One user wrote, "Sir, please give us a brief news about the UGC NET result. We are all tense and unable to focus on the next exam. It's a humble request from UGC NET aspirants to provide an update."

Another aspirant pointed out that the delay could affect the upcoming UGC NET December 2024 cycle: "What about the UGC NET June 2024 result? It's been almost five weeks, but there's still no update."
The delay is also impacting candidates' academic and professional plans. A frustrated user shared, "Please declare the UGC NET result. Due to the delay, PhD applications in Central and State universities have closed, and it's spoiling our careers."

Another tweet criticised the NTA's handling of the situation, saying, "NTA is making a mockery of lakhs of UGC NET aspirants by delaying the results."

As the wait continues, aspirants are urging NTA and the University Grants Commission (UGC) to provide an update on the result timeline.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) initially conducted the UGC NET exam on June 18, 2024, but had to cancel it the following day due to a compromise in the integrity of the examination. The exam was rescheduled and held again from August 27 to September 4, 2024, this time in a computer-based format.
