UGC NET Result 2024 Date:  The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the scorecard, and final answer key for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) anytime soon. Once released, candidates will be able to check and download the UGC NET Result 2024 at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

The NTA has issued the UGC NET answer key 2024 for the exams conducted between August 21 and September 4. Candidates who appeared for the examination were given an opportunity to raise objections to the provisional answer key. The extended window for submitting objections closed on September 14, and the results are now expected to be announced soon.

Candidates who secure a minimum of 40 per cent will be considered qualified in the UGC NET exam, while reduced qualifying marks of 35 percent apply to SC, ST, and OBC candidates.

The UGC NET is a national exam held biannually in online mode, with a total duration of 3 hours. It comprises two papers: Paper 1, worth 100 marks and consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and Paper 2, worth 200 marks and containing 100 MCQs. Each correct answer awards 2 marks, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The UGC NET entrance exam is conducted to assess the eligibility of Indian nationals for the positions of 'Assistant Professor' and 'Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor' in universities and colleges.

UGC NET Result 2024: Here's How To Download Scorecard

Step 1: Go to the official website-- ugcnet.nta.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the link UGC NET Result 2024 or Final Answer Key on the homepage

Step 3: Now candidates will have to enter the required details and click on the submit button

Step 4: The UGC NET Result 2024 will appear on the screen

Note: Download the UGC NET Result 2024 and take a print out for future reference.
