UGC NET December Result 2025: The National Testing Agency is likely to announce the UGC NET December session result soon on its official portal. Candidates who have taken the exams from December 31 to January 7, 2026, can download the result PDF using their registration number and date of birth.
UGC NET exam is conducted for PhD admission, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and Assistant Professor posts.
UGC NET December Result 2025: Steps To Download
Once the result link is active, candidates can use the following instructions to download the scorecard PDF from the official website.
Step 1: Go to the NTA official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the “UGC NET Exam Result/Scorecard” download link.
Step 3: Enter your registration number and password.
Step 4: The result will be displayed in PDF format.
Step 5: Download it and see your qualifications.
To clear the UGC NET exam, candidates must score more than or equal to the qualifying marks as prescribed by NTA. General category candidates need 40% total marks in both papers to qualify, while SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), PwD, and third gender categories need to score at least 35% total marks.
Candidates must note that there is no rechecking option for the UGC NET results. Once the authorities have declared the results on the official portal, it is final and will not be changed.
