UGC NET Result 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is preparing to declare the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) June cycle tomorrow on July 22, 2025 on their official website. Those students who have appeared for the examination will be able to check their scorecards once released online. The students will be required to enter their login credentials to view their results.

UGC NET Result 2025: Exam Dates

The University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) was conducted by the NTA in computer-based mode (CBT) at various examination centres across the country with multiple examination shifts. The entrance exam is conducted to evaluate eligibility of the candidates for the Assistant Professorships and Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) at Indian universities and colleges. Each candidate’s scorecard includes the total marks, percentile score, and whether or not the candidate qualified.

UGC NET Result 2025: Minimum Passing scores

Those students who belong to the general category are required to receive at least 40% in order to be eligible to take the UGC NET examination. A passing score of 35% is necessary for those candidates who fall into the OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, and transgender categories. The students must attain these assigned passing marks according to their categories.

UGC NET Result 2025: Expected Cut-Offs

The candidates should be aware that the expected cut-off marks for individual courses will be announced alongside the results on the official website by the National Testing Agency. Only those who receive a score equal to or greater than the cutoff in their respective categories will be considered as eligible candidates.

Steps to check UGC NET Result 2025 when OUT:

Step 1: The students are required to visit the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in to check the result.

Step 2: On the homepage, under the "Candidate Activity", click on the "UGC-NET June 2025: Click Here For Scorecard" link.

Step 3: A new window will open on the screen where students have to enter the details such as application number and date of birth.

Step 4: Submit to proceed and your UGC NET Result 2025 will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download the UGC NET result 2025 and take a printout of the same for future references.
