IIT Delhi: Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan interacted with undergraduate and postgraduate students during his visit to the premier engineering institute. The Minister stressed the importance of achieving self-reliance in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision outlined in his recent Independence Day speech.
He highlighted that the current moment presents a unique opportunity for collective action toward national priorities. The Minister emphasised the need to fulfill the vision of 'Samridhh Bharat' by 2047 through innovative solutions and technological advancement.
Students Share Research Dreams and Aspirations:
During the interaction session, students shared their research areas and technological challenges with the Education Minister. Pradhan encouraged them to bring forward innovative ideas and work persistently on challenges until India achieves self-reliance in every sphere.
The Minister expressed confidence that government support would help establish India as a global hub of solutions. He assured students that the administration stands firmly with innovators and researchers in shaping a brighter future for coming generations.
"The talent, tenacity and resolve of our youth coupled with the pursuit of self-reliance will pave the way for strengthening Bharat's capabilities," the Minister said, as per PTI report.

IITs Are The Architects Of Making Atmanirbhar Bharat:
Pradhan said that IITs are the backbone of 'Self-Reliant India'. With the support of Prime Minister Modi, young innovators would change tool and entrepreneur rules.
The Minister announced plans to revisit IIT Delhi to review innovations being developed by students. Secretary of Higher Education Dr. Vineet Joshi also spoke about extending support to institutions for advancing innovation and addressing national challenges.
Director IIT Delhi Prof. Rangan Bannerjee and senior ministry officials were present during the visit. The event focused on enhancing research capabilities and strengthening India's technological sovereignty through student-led innovations.
