UP Board class 10th, 12th exam 2025:The UPMSP Class 10 and Class 12 board exams began on Monday, February 24, 2025, and will go on till March 12, 2025. Over 54 lakh students are set to take the UP boards examinations at 8,140 exam centres across Uttar Pradesh. As many as 27.32 lakh students will take the Class 10 board exams, while 27.05 lakh will appear for the Class 12 board exams.
The UPMSP has issued strict warnings against cheating during the board exams and the government has put in place a high-tech control room to ensure fair examinations. The high-tech control room was recently inaugurated by Minister of State for Secondary Education Gulab Devi. It comprises 54 computers, which will help oversee the exams at the state, district and school levels. The authorities have warned of severe action against those involved in exam malpractices.
UP Board class 10th, 12th exam 2025: Timings
The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will hold the Class 10 and 12 board exams in two shifts from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM and from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. On the first day, UPMSP will conduct Class 10 Hindi and Healthcare papers and Class 12 Hindi and Military Science exams.
UP Board class 10th, 12th exam 2025: Important Guidelines For Exam Day
- The students must reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the paper begins.
- It is mandatory to wearing the school uniform to the exam centre.
- To get entry into the examination hall, students must produce a hard copy of the admit card and the school ID card.
- The students must bring their own stationery items (pen, pencil, eraser) as sharing is not allowed during exam.
- Electronic devices are prohibited. These include calculators, mobile phones, smartwatches and Bluetooth devices.
- Candidates must maintain discipline and silence in the exam hall
- Students appearing for Class 10 and Class 12 UP board exams must follow the invigilators’ instructions
- Unfair means during exams are strictly banned
