UP NEET UG 2024 Counselling: The Director General of Medical Education and Training (DME) of Uttar Pradesh began the selection process for the third phase of the UP National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2024, today, October 11. Aspirants who have registered for round 3 counselling can fill up their UP NEET UG 2024 choices online at upneet.gov.in.
After successful registration and selection, the seat allotment results for round 3 will be announced. Applicants must report to their designated colleges within the stipulated time frame, otherwise their seats will be forfeited.
"Candidates interested in admission to seats in private sector medical/dental colleges should fill their choices only after reviewing the fee structure of minority/non-minority colleges/institutions/universities available on the departmental website www.dgme.up.gov.in and www.upneet.gov.in", the official notification read.

UP NEET UG 2024 Counselling: Choice-filling guidelines
- Only applicants who paid the registration or security fee by the given deadlines and had their documents checked online are qualified to participate in the choice-filling procedure. This applies to all three stages of therapy (first, second, and third).

- Aspirants will be free to choose whether they want to attend a government or private medical college.
- Candidates should only choose colleges that they are actually interested in attending. They can name as many universities as they want because there is no restriction to the number of options they can enter online.
- After the applicant has finalized and locked their choices (Choice Lock), no alterations or revisions are permitted. Requests to modify the locked choices will not be entertained by authorities.
- Applicants who have already been admitted to a college during the first or second round but want to try for a better seat or course in the third round should not select the same college/course where they were previously admitted.
- If they fill the same college/course and the seat is re-allocated to them, they will have to repeat the complete admissions process, including visiting the nodal centre.
