UP NEET UG Counselling 2024: The Director General of Medical Education and Training (DME), Uttar Pradesh, will start the registration process for the third round of UP NEET UG counselling 2024 today, October 7, for admission to MBBS, BDS programmes in medical and dental colleges. Candidates can apply for the round 3 couselling round at upneet.gov.in.
According to the schedule, candidates can submit their application forms until October 9. The merit list will be released on October 10, followed by the opening of the online choice filling window on October 11 at 2 PM, which will remain open until October 15. The seat allotment results will be announced on October 18. Afterward, candidates can download their allotment letters and proceed with admissions between October 19 and October 23.
To complete the registration process, applicants must pay an application fee of Rs 2,000. In addition to this, students are required to deposit security money: Rs 30,000 for government college seats, Rs 2,00,000 for private medical college seats, and Rs 1,00,000 for private dental college seats.
Candidates who either did not accept their assigned seat in the second round or resigned from it are eligible to participate in round 3 by submitting the security deposit again.
Moreover, candidates who participated in the first and second rounds of the counselling and now wish to resign from their seats can do so up to two days before the choice-filling for round 3. Resignations must be submitted in person at the designated colleges, and the window will remain open until October 9 at 2 PM. This process must be completed at the same college where the online procedure was started.
