UP Police Constable Exam Date 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) will release the UP Police Constable re-exam date 2024 soon. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated on February 24 that the exam is scheduled to be held within six months, with the expected date being August 2024. However, the board has yet to announce the exact date. Along with the announcement of the UP Police Constable exam date, the board will also provide tentative dates for the release of the admit cards and the result declaration.

The UP Police Constable exam, initially held on February 17 and 18, was cancelled due to paper leak allegations and student protests. The exam took place across all 2,385 centers in the state over two days and four shifts. Approximately 48 lakh students had appeared for the exam in February.

The board has announced 60,244 vacancies for Constable Civil Police and Constable in Pradeshik Armed Constabulary (PAC). The highest number of vacancies is for the UR category, with a total of 24,102, followed closely by the OBC and SC categories. The fewest vacancies are for the ST category, totaling 1,204.

UP Police Constable Re-Exam Date 2024: Fake Notice Goes Viral

Last month, the board addressed the spread of false information regarding the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable exam date. A fake notice claiming the exam dates to be June 29 and June 30, 2024, was circulating on social media. However, the UPPRB clarified that no such dates have been announced. The board has advised candidates to wait for the official announcements.

The board has clarified that any information regarding the examination will be published solely on its website and official Twitter handle. Legal action is being taken against those spreading false information. Students are advised to check the official UPPBPB website for the latest updates.
