UP Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Exam Dates: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPPPB) will announce the date and time of the UP Police Constable Recruitment 2024 re-exam soon. The UP police exam held on February 17 and 18 was previously canceled due to allegations of paper leaks. The Uttar Pradesh government has stated that the re-examination will take place within six months. It is expected that the exam will be held in June 2024. However, the exact date and time are yet to be announced by the board. Once announced, candidates will be able to check the UP Police exam date 2024 at uppbpb.gov.in.
Earlier in February, more than 47 lakh candidates took the UP Police Constable Exam for 60,244 vacancies. However, the exam was cancelled on February 24. As per the UP Police Constable Selection process, candidates who pass the written exam will be shortlisted for the PST, DV, and PET rounds.
The UP Police constable exam will last for 2 hours, during which candidates are required to answer 150 questions. Each correct answer will gain the applicant 2 marks, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The exam will be conducted in both English and Hindi languages. Questions in all sections except General Hindi will be available in both languages. The exam will consist of four sections, including General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical and Mental Ability, and Intelligence and Logical Ability.

In response to the UP Police recruitment paper exam leak case, the Uttar Pradesh government has recently taken significant action. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has removed the recruitment board's chairman, Renuka Mishra, from her duties and appointed IPS Officer Rajiv Krishna as the new chairman of the recruitment board.
