UP RTE Admission 2025-26: The Basic Education Department of Uttar Pradesh has begun the online registration-cum-application procedure for admission to the pre-primary class in private schools under the Right to Education (RTE) Act. Parents can fill out paperwork at rte25.upsdc.gov.in.
According to the timetable, the application date for the first round is December 19. The application forms will be validated at the district level between December 20 and 23.
The lottery to shortlist applicants will be held on December 24, and the merit list for the first round will be revealed on December 27. UP RTE admissions for 2025-26 will be conducted in four stages.
Here is the complete timetable for the second, third, and fourth rounds.

The RTE Act of 2009 covers 25% of pre-primary seats in private institutions in Uttar Pradesh. Children from poor and underprivileged backgrounds are entitled to submit applications for admission to private schools under this plan.
According to the official notification, lessons for students registered under the RTE Act will commence on April 1, 2024, by the forthcoming academic year timetable.
How to apply for UP RTE admission 2024?
Step 1: Visit the official website, rte25.upsdc.gov.in.
Step 2: Now, download the timetable and read the guidelines notification.
Step 3: On the right-hand side of the website, open the login tab.
Step 4: After this, candidates have to register by providing the necessary details such as district, area, town/block, gram panchayat/ward, name of the candidate, mobile number, date of birth, gender, class, category and certificate number.
Step 5: Next, upload the required document(s) in the prescribed format and size.
Step 6: Enter the five-digit code and review the details after this click on the ‘register button’.
Step 7: Now, candidates have to log in to their accounts and fill out the application form.
Step 8: Complete the steps such as uploading the document(s) or paying an application fee.
Step 9: Submit the form and save a copy of the confirmation page.
