UP School Summer Vacation 2024: UP School Summer Vacations will commence from May 18 in schools under the Basic Education Council. These vacations will last until June 18. In primary and upper primary schools, summer vacations begin from May 20 and continue until June 15. This year, summer vacations will start after the educational activities on May 18, as May 19 is a Sunday. Therefore, instead of May 20, summer vacations will begin two days earlier.
The vacation lasts until June 15, so the school will reopen on June 16. However, this year June 16 falls on a Sunday. The following day, June 17, is Eid ul-Adha, also known as Bakrid. Hence, schools are expected to reopen from June 18. All principals have been directed by department officials to assign homework to all students before the start of the summer vacation so that they can continue their studies at home. For more details, students and parents are advised to contact their respective schools.
In schools, the academic session commenced from April 1, and the enrollment process is underway. Meanwhile, summer vacation will begin after May 18th. Department officials have instructed principals to continue with the enrollment process for students.
