UP Summer Vacations 2023: Schools To Close From May 20 Due To Heatwave; Check Details

Uttar Pradesh, UP Summer Vacation 2023: Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board has announced the dates for the UP School Summer Vacations 2023. As per the announcement, UP schools to remain shut from May 20. This step is taken due to the continuing heatwave situation across the state.

According to the schedule, the UP school summer vacation 2023 will continue till June 15, 2023. The Board secretary has issued an order for all UP board-affiliated and recognised schools. The school will remain closed for 40 days starting from Saturday, May 20, 2023. This decision has been made for the class 1 to 8 students due to the rising temperature in the state. Earlier, the board also revised the timings of the schools due to the severe heatwave conditions.

Summer Vacations In Other States

Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand have also announced the Summer vacation due to heatwave conditions. Madhya Pradesh schools will be closed from May 1 to June 15, 2023. While in Jharkhand school will remain closed from May 21 to June 10, 2023
