RO ARO 2025 Exam: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will conduct the Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) Preliminary Examination on July 27, 2025. The exam will be held in a single shift from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm across various centres in all districts of the state. Candidates can now download their admit cards from the official website of UPPSC: uppsc.up.nic.in using their OTR number.

To ensure a smooth experience, candidates must follow key instructions. Reach the exam venue early, carrying your admit card, two passport-size photographs, and a valid photo ID (original and photocopy). Entry will begin 1 hour 30 minutes before the exam starts and will be closed 45 minutes before the start of the exam. No candidate will be allowed inside the exam hall after that.

Any act of cheating, using unfair means, or leaking/question paper manipulation is considered a criminal offence. Offenders may face up to Rs 1 crore in fines and life imprisonment. Candidates are advised to carefully read and follow all instructions provided on their admit cards.

The UPPSC RO/ARO recruitment process involves three stages: the Preliminary Examination, which is qualifying in nature, followed by the Main Examination for a detailed assessment, and finally, the Interview, which is the last stage of selection.

2. Eligibility mentioned in the application is not verified by the Commission. Appear only if you fully meet the eligibility criteria; else, candidature may be cancelled at any stage.

3. Carry two recent passport-size photographs, a valid photo ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN, Passport, Driving License, or Govt-issued ID – original + photocopy), and your admit card without fail.

4. Admit card is mandatory for entry. Without it, candidates will be barred from the exam.

5. Ensure the bar code numbers on the question booklet and answer sheet match before opening the sealed pack. Report any mismatch or damage immediately to the invigilator.

6. Use only black ink ballpoint pen. Do not use whitener, blade, or eraser. Fill details accurately; incorrect entries lead to disqualification.

7. Wrong answers will incur a penalty of 1/3 marks. Multiple answers will also be penalized.

8. Bring a plain clipboard/cardboard; no calculators, graph sheets, or personal study materials are allowed.

9. No material exchange inside the exam hall; items not permitted must be deposited outside at your own risk.

10. Cheating material possession will lead to disqualification and future debarment.

11. Entry begins 1 hour 30 mins before the exam and closes 45 mins before the scheduled time. Late entry will not be permitted.

12. Biometric verification (including iris scan) is mandatory for entry.

13. No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam hall in the last 30 minutes of the examination.

RO ARO 2025 Admit Card: How to download?

Step 1: The students are required to visit the official website of the university- uppsc.up.nic.in to download admit cards.

Step 2: There will be a link for the ‘RO ARO 2025 Admit Card Download’ available on the homepage.

Step 3: A new window will open on the screen where students have to fill in all the details and click on ‘Login’.

Step 4: Submit to proceed and your The RO ARO 2025 Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Check all the details mentioned in the hall ticket properly and download and print the admit card PDF for future reference.
