UPSC CDS 1 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will finish the application period for the Combined Defence Services Examination (UPSC CDS) 1 exam 2025 on December 31. Those who are interested can apply for the UPSC CDS 1 2025 through the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
After the registration deadline, the commission opens the UPSC CDS 1 application 2025 correction window on January 1. Successfully enrolled candidates will be allowed to make modifications to their UPSC CDS 2025 application forms using the correction facility.
The UPSC CDS 2025 application correction facility is open until January 7. To amend the UPSC CDS 1 application form 2025, applicants must enter their login credentials, which include their registration number and date of birth.
“Registration has to be done only once in a lifetime. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway to filling up the online application for the examination,” the official notice read.

UPSC CDS 1 2025: Exam date
According to the official notice, the UPSC CDS 1 exam 2025 will be placed on April 13, 2025, at several examination sites across the country. The UPSC CDS 1 admit card 2025 will be provided on the last working day of the week preceding the exam date.
The UPSC CDS 2025 admit card is a required document for the examination day. Applicants will not be able to take the exam unless they have their hall tickets.
UPSC CDS 1 2025: Application fee
To apply for the UPSC CDS 2025 exam, aspirants must submit an application fee of Rs 200. “All female candidates and candidates belonging to scheduled castes (SC) and scheduled tribes (ST) are exempted from paying any fee. However, no fee exemption is available to OBC candidates, who are required to pay the full prescribed fee,” the CDS notification read.
UPSC CDS 2025: Vacancy details
The UPSC CDS recruitment drive 2025 intends to fill a total of 457 vacancies within the organization through the recruitment exam. Applicants can examine the vacancy details in each military academy listed below.
* Indian Military Academy, Dehradun - 160th (DE) Course commencing in January 2026 - 100 posts
* Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala - Course commencing in January 2026 Executive Branch - 32 posts
* Air Force Academy, Hyderabad - (Pre-Flying) Training Course commencing in January 2026 - 32 posts
* Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) 123rd SSC (Men) (NT) (UPSC) Course Commencing in April 2026 - 275 posts
* Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) 37th SSC Women (NT) (UPSC) Course commencing in April 2026 - 18 posts
