UPSC CMS 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) published the UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination (CMS) 2024 exam dates on May 21. Candidates who have enrolled for the UPSC CMS 2024 may verify the exam date and timetable on the Commission's official website, upsc.gov.in. UPSC CMS 2024 registration ended on April 30.

(i) Medical officers grade in general duty medical officers sub-cadre of central health service- 163
Category II
(i) Assistant divisional medical officer in the railways - 450
(ii) General duty medical officer in New Delhi municipal council - 14
(iii) General duty medical officer Gr-II in the municipal corporation of Delhi - 200
UPSC CMS 2024: Exam schedule
As per the official schedule, the UPSC CMS 2024 will be held in two shifts on July 14th. According to the UPSC CMS 2024 exam schedule, paper I (Code No. 1), which covers general medicine and pediatrics, will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Paper II (Code No 2) will be held in the afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and it will cover surgery, gynaecology and obstetrics, as well as preventive and social medicine.
UPSC CMS 2024: Selection process
The UPSC CMS 2024 selection procedure has two phases: a written exam and a personal interview. The written test consists of two papers, each carrying 250 marks, for a total of 500 points. Each paper will last two hours. Candidates who satisfy the qualifying criterion based on the results of the written examination will advance to the personality test stage, which is worth 100 points.
