UPSC Cut-Off 2024: Check Expected Cut-Off Marks For Civil Services Exam

UPSC Expected Cut Off 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted the prelims exam 2024 on June 16 at various centers in 80 cities nationwide. The UPSC Cut Off 2024 will be issued by the Commission together with the UPSC result.

The expected UPSC CSE cut-off marks indicate the minimum score required in the UPSC Prelims exam to qualify for the Mains. These cut-off marks are influenced by factors including the total number of vacancies, the difficulty level of the UPSC question paper, and the number of candidates appearing for the exam, etc. Candidates can refer to the previous years' UPSC cutoffs below to estimate the trends of question paper difficulty and the competitive standards required to qualify for the exam.

The commission recently released the cut-off marks for the Civil Services Exam 2023 (CSE 2023). According to the notification, the final cut-off marks for the general category are 953. For EWS, it stands at 923, for OBC 919, for SC 890, for ST 891, for PwBD-1 894, for PwBD-2 930, for PwBD-3 756, and for PwBD-5 category candidates, it is 589.

In the Preliminary stage, the cut-off marks for the general category are 75.41, which is lower than 88.22 in 2022 and 87.54 in 2021. For EWS, it is 68.02, for OBC 74.75, for SC 59.25, for ST 47.82, for PwBD-1 40.40, for PwBD-2 47.13, for PwBD-3 40.40, and for PwBD-5 it is 33.68.

Moving to the UPSC Mains exam, the cut-off marks for the general category are 741, lower than last year's 748 and 745 in 2021. For EWS, it is 706, for OBC 712, for SC 694, for ST 692, for PwBD-1 673, for PwBD-2 718, for PwBD-3 396, and for PwBD-5 445.
