UPSC Prelims 2024 Analysis: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Civil Services Examination (CSE) on June 16 in two shifts. The UPSC has successfully conducted the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary exam 2024 for Paper 1 (General Studies) from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. The UPSC CSAT (Paper 2) exam will be held from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Here, candidates can check the UPSC Prelims 2024 analysis for the General Studies paper.
According to media reports, the UPSC IAS Prelims 2024 examination was considered easier compared to the previous year. Overall, the preliminary test was described as moderate in difficulty. In the UPSC Preliminary Paper 1, questions covered topics such as current affairs, science and technology, history, the Indian Constitution, and more.

The UPSC Civil Services Prelims exam consists of two objective-type papers: General Studies (Paper 1) and the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT). General Studies Paper 1 includes 100 questions, each worth two marks. Paper 2, the CSAT, comprises 80 questions, each worth 2.5 marks. Candidates must note that the CSAT is a qualifying paper.
This year, over 13 lakh candidates appeared for the exam competing for 1056 vacancies across all Group 'A' officer positions under the Government of India.

UPSC Prelims Expected Cut Off 2024
Candidates can check the UPSC Prelims expected cut-off marks to estimate their chances of qualifying for the prelims exam.
