Akshita aimed to become an IAS officer while working in her medical job. Starting her UPSC preparations in her third year, she dedicated 13-14 hours every day to studying. During her job's downtime, she utilised her leisure time to revise her subjects. As a medical student, she opted for Medical Science as her optional subject in the main exam.
Her UPSC preparation strategy was well-structured. Akshita highlighted crucial points while reading, repeatedly reviewing these highlighted sections. She meticulously combed through her medical books, selecting and organising chapters aligned with the UPSC syllabus. Her method involved distilling vital information for effective studying.
According to the media reports, her strategy was ingenious focusing on weaker topics and adapting her study materials. "I took my medicine books, tore out pages relevant to the UPSC syllabus, stapled them to form chapters.
