UPSSSC Lekhpal Recruitment 2026: UP Lekhpal Registration Ends Today For 7994 Vacancies At upsssc.gov.in; Correction Window Opens Till Feb 4

UP Lekhpal Apply Online 2026 Deadline Today: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) will close the online application window for the UP Lekhpal Bharti 2026 today, January 28. Aspirants have only a few hours to submit their application forms for 7994 Lekhpal vacancies. However, the deadline for fee payment and application amendment is 4 February. Candidates can submit their UP Lekhpal Online Forms at upsssc.gov.in.

The online application process started on December 29, 2025. Through this recruitment drive, a total of 7,994 Lekhpal posts are to be filled in the state. An important point related to the application process is that the last date for online application and fee payment is January 28, 2026. The correction window for making changes to the application form will remain open till February 4, 2026, but applying first is mandatory.

The application fee is only Rs. 25 for all categories: General, OBC, EWS, SC, ST, and PwD. The candidate's age should be between 18 and 40 years as of July 1, 2025.

Who can fill the UP Lekhpal form?

Regarding eligibility, it is mandatory for the candidate to have passed Class 12th. Along with this, it is also necessary to have qualified in UPSSSC PET 2025. The selection process will be completed in four stages, which include shortlisting based on PET score, written examination, document verification, and medical examination.

According to the revised notification, there has been a significant increase in vacancies for the OBC category. The number of posts for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes has also been increased, while the vacancies for the General category have been reduced. According to the new list, 3,205 posts have been allocated for the General category, 2,158 for OBC, 1,679 for SC, 160 for ST, and 792 for EWS.

What is the salary of a UP Lekhpal?

Selected candidates will receive a salary of Rs 21,700 to Rs69,100 per month for the Lekhpal post, along with other allowances as per state government rules. This is a great opportunity for young people preparing for government jobs in Uttar Pradesh.
