UPTET Result 2026: The wait of lakhs of students will soon come to an end. The Uttar Pradesh Education Services Selection Commission (UPESSC) is expected to release the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 results really soon. While there is no official confirmation yet, candidates can expect the results to be out probably in the first week of August. Once released, the result download link will be active at upessc.up.gov.in. Candidates will need their registration number and password to download their scorecard.
UPTET 2026 was held on July 2, 3, and 4 across 95 examination centres spread over 60 districts. The answer key was released on July 8, allowing candidates to calculate their probable marks and evaluate their performance.

How To Download UPTET Result 2026?
Once the official link becomes available, candidates can follow the given steps to download their UPTET scorecard 2026.
Step 1: Visit the UPESSC official website at upessc.up.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “UPTET Result 2026” download link.
Step 3: Enter your registration number and password to log in.
Step 4: After submitting the details, your UPTET scorecard 2026 will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download it and check your qualifying status.
UPTET Result 2026: Minimum Passing Marks
UPTET 2026 was worth 150 marks. The qualifying marks vary depending on the category. General category candidates need a minimum of 60% marks, which corresponds to 90 marks out of 150. However, SC/ST/ and PwD candidates need 55% marks, i.e., 82 marks out of 150. Those who score the qualifying marks will get the UPTET Certificate, which holds lifetime validity.
What After UPTET Result Declaration?
After the results are declared, those who qualify will receive the UPTET certificate and can apply for teacher recruitments across the state. Candidates must also note that qualifying for UPTET does not guarantee appointment as a teacher. It only establishes eligibility to apply for teacher recruitment exams, issued by the respective authorities.
