UKSSSC Recruitment Paper Leak: The Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) is investigating candidates who have submitted suspicious information in their online applications and submitted multiple applications over the past five to six years. The Commission will hand over the list of these candidates to the police so that a thorough investigation can be conducted at the district level.
According to information received from reliable sources within the Commission, the Commission is compiling a record of candidates who have applied for Group C online recruitment examinations under multiple different identities over the past five to six years.
This includes suspects who were previously caught in cases such as paper leaks and cheating, and whose applications were rejected.

Such candidates are barred from the examination upon detection, but many of them are filling out the Commission's online recruitment examination forms by falsifying their original identities.
To curb these, the Commission will prepare their list as per the old online records and share it with the Superintendents of Police in the districts, so that the police can investigate them and such suspects can be prevented from appearing in the upcoming examinations.
UKSSSC Postpones Exams Amid Leak Scandal:
The Commission has abruptly postponed the examination scheduled for October 5 following the ongoing paper leak scandal. Despite Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s assurance to protesting students about recommending a CBI probe, the commission cited precautionary reasons for the decision. The move has also raised uncertainty over the examinations scheduled for October 12.
Uttarakhand Awaits Decision on CBI Inquiry:
Amid the ongoing uproar over the alleged involvement of a 'paper mafia' in the UKSSSC examinations, Uttarakhand Congress chief spokesperson Garima Mahara Dasauni expressed surprise at the confusion surrounding the CBI investigation.
Dasauni said, "First of all, the recommendation for a CBI investigation has not been issued yet. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will send the recommendation for a CBI investigation to the central government, and the central government will decide whether a CBI investigation will take place or not."
Dasauni also said that the people of Uttarakhand are extremely disappointed by the recent events.
UKSSSC Faces Challenges in Verifying Multiple Applications Amid Lax Eligibility Criteria
Amid the postponement of exams, the Uttarakhand Civil Services Selection Commission has not yet established any eligibility criteria to verify the authenticity of applications for all recruitments. In fact, multiple applications, different photographs, different father's names, and different certificates make it difficult to properly verify the authenticity of applications.
