WB JECA 2024 Counselling: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) released the seat allotment results for the Joint Examination for Masters in Computer Applications (JECA) 2024 counselling round 2 today, October 1. Those who took part in the counselling procedure can receive the WB JECA 2024 seat allotment result from the official website of WBJEEB at wbjeeb.nic.in.
To download the JECA 2024 seat allotment letter, applicants must log in with their appropriate credentials, such as the JECA application number and password. Aspirants who received a seat in round 2 of counselling should accept it and pay a Rs 5,000 seat acceptance fee.
After downloading the WB JECA 2024 allotment letter, the applicant must report to the allotted institute with the letter and other required documents for verification.
“If the candidate fails to report for document verification, the current allotment will be cancelled and he/she will not be considered for seat allotment in 2nd round,” the official notice read.
WB JECA 2024: What's next?
- Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee
To confirm their assigned seat, applicants must pay the seat acceptance fee before the deadline. This cost is usually non-refundable and can be paid online using the portal.
- Reporting to the Allotted College
Once the cost has been received, aspirants must report to the designated college for document verification and additional admission processes. The reporting process involves:
1. Submitting the allotment letter and fee payment receipt.
2. Presenting original documents like:
- WB JECA rank card.
- Academic certificates (mark sheets, degree certificates).
- Category certificates (if applicable).
- Identification proof (Aadhar, Voter ID).
3. Verifying documents at the college.
- Freezing or Upgrading the Seat
1. Freeze the Seat: If applicants are satisfied with their assigned seat, they can finalize their admission by freezing it.
2. Upgrade Option: Aspirants who seek a better seat in later rounds might request an upgrade if one is available.
