World Students Day 2025: The World Students’ Day is celebrated on October 15 every year. This day is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the 11th President of India and one of the most influential personalities. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was a dedicated educator and a renowned aerospace scientist, he has made significant contributions in the educational department. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam is popularly known as the ‘Missile Man of India’.
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was born in 1931 in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. His contributions to India's space and missile programs will be remembered for life, earning him one of the most iconic titles ‘Missile Man of India.’ His deep commitment to provide quality education to the students led to the establishment of the World Students Day 2025.

The United Kingdom announced October 15 as a World Students Day to celebrate the legacy of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. This day was declared by the United Nations in the year 2010 as a tribute to Dr. Kalam, who was deeply dedicated to students and transforming the educational system of India.
