Karnataka Assembly Election 2023: The election to the 224-member Legislative Assembly in Karnataka will be held on May 10 while the results will be declared on May 13. BJP, Congress and JD(S) will be battling against each other in this Karnataka Assembly Election.

Chikkaballapur Assembly Elections 2023:

Chikkaballapur is one of the 224 assembly segments across 31 districts in Karnataka. Chikkaballapur assembly constituency falls under Chikkaballapur. This year, BJP has fielded Dr K. Sudhakar, who is currently serving as the Minister of Medical Education and Health of Karnataka. In 2019, he won the seat by defeating M. Anjanappa of Congress with a margin of 34801 votes.

Meanwhile, the Indian National Congress (INC) has fielded Pradeep Eshwar Ayyar, whereas, JD (S) has fielded K.P. Bachegowda. Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party has fielded Nandi Basha.

Reportedly, there are 197,826 voters in the constituency of which 98,740 voters are male and 99061 voters are female.

Chikkaballapur Assembly Elections 2018:

In 2019, the BJP candidate Dr. K. Sudhakar won the seat by defeating M. Anjanappa of the Indian National Congress with a margin of 34, 801 votes and securing 48.53 per cent of the total votes polled.

It was Sudhakar's second win in the Chikkaballapur Assembly Election as he also won in 2018 with a margin of 30,231 votes. However, during the 2018 Chikkaballapur Assembly elections, Dr K. Sudhakar was a member of Congress. He also won this seat in 2013 with a margin of 15,048 votes.

In the 2019 Chikkaballapur Assembly Elections, there were a total of 195,831 voters which includes 98,079 males and 97,728 voters.
