Gautam Buddha Nagar Election 2024 Phase 2 Live News:  Polling has begun on the Gautam Buddha Nagar/Noida Lok Sabha Seat as part of phase 2 of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on Friday. People flocked to the polling booths to practice their franchise. The district administration has announced the closure of schools and colleges on April 26 to facilitate the voting process. Spanning Bulandshahar and Gautam Buddha Nagar districts, the constituency comprises five Vidhan Sabha constituencies: Noida, Jewar, Dadri, Sikandrabad, and Khurja.

The stage is set for a triangular contest among the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP).MP Mahesh Sharma will represent the BJP, while Rajendra Singh Solanki has been fielded by the BSP. The SP has named Mahendra Nagar as their candidate, who will also represent the opposition alliance, INDIA (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance).
