Yellandu Assembly Election 2023: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on October 9 announced the dates of polls for Telangana. According to the dates, the polls in Telangana will be held in one phase on November 30 and the results will be announced on December 3. Meanwhile, Yellandu is an assembly constituency in Telangana.

The Yellandu seat is currently held by the Indian National Congress (INC), and it comes under the Bhadradri district of Telangana district of Telangana state. During the 2018 elections, INC candidate Haripriya Banoth won the seat and defeated Kanakaiah Koram of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). The INC leader registered a victory by a margin of 2,887 votes.

Yellandu Assembly Election 2014

During the 2014 assembly elections, INC candidate Kanakaiah Koram registered victory by a margin of 11,507 votes and defeated the TDP candidate Banothu Haripriya. While Koram Kanakaiah got a total of 44,945 votes, Banothu Haripriya secured 33,438 votes.

Yellandu Assembly Election 2009

During the 2009 elections, the seat was won by TDP's Abbaiah Vooke who got 41,605 votes and defeated INC candidate Kanakaiah Koram by a margin of 2,946 votes. Kanakaiah Koram secured a total of 38,659.
