Chanderi (Madhya Pradesh) Assembly Election 2023: On November 17, 2023, Madhya Pradesh will have elections for the 230 Assembly constituencies. The election verdict will be announced on December 3, 2023.
Chanderi is a Madhya Pradesh state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha seat that is part of the Guna Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Chanderi is located in Madhya Pradesh's Ashok Nagar district and Chambal area. It is classified as a rural seat.
The seat has a total of 1,72,823 votes, with 91,893 male voters and 80,927 female voters. Chanderi had a voting turnout of 75.79 per cent in the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections. Turnout was 75.35 per cent in 2013, and 74.17 per cent in 2008.

Chanderi Assembly Election 2018 and 2013
Gopal Singh Chauhan (Daggi Raja) of the INC won the seat by 45,106 votes (34.33 per cent).
In 2013, the seat was won by Gopal Singh Chauhan (Daggi Raja) of the INC by a margin of 30,318 votes (24 per cent). Gopal aka Daggi Raja received 58.17 per cent of the votes cast.
The BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections by a margin of 4,548 votes (4.87 per cent), accounting for 35.46 per cent of all votes cast.
