Ashok Nagar (Madhya Pradesh) Assembly Election 2023: Madhya Pradesh will have elections for the 230 Assembly constituencies on November 17, 2023. The election result will be held on December 3, 2023.

Ashok Nagar is a Madhya Pradesh state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha seat that is part of the Guna Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Ashok Nagar is located in Madhya Pradesh's Ashok Nagar district and Chambal area. It is classified as a rural seat.

The seat has a total of 1,86,075 votes, with 98,590 male voters and 87,481 female voters. Ashok Nagar had a voter turnout of 74.07 per cent in the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections. Turnout was 71.66 per cent in 2013, and 66.08 per cent in 2008.

Ashok Nagar Assembly Election 2018 and 2013

In 2018, INC's candidate Jajpal Singh "Jajji" won the seat by 65,750 votes (47.48 per cent).

Gopilal Jatav of the BJP won the seat by a margin of 3,348 votes (2.62 per cent) in 2013. Gopilal received 43.82 per cent of the votes cast.

The BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 21,019 votes (24.16 per cent), accounting for 48.25 per cent of all votes cast.
