Guna (Madhya Pradesh) Assembly Election 2023: On November 17, 2023, Madhya Pradesh will have elections for the 230 Assembly constituencies. The election is scheduled for December 3, 2023.
Guna is a Madhya Pradesh state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency that is part of the Guna Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Guna is located in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district and Chambal area. It's classified as a semi-urban seat.
The seat has a total of 2,08,308 votes, with 1,09,510 male voters and 98,789 female voters. Guna had a voter turnout of 68.67 per cent in the Madhya Pradesh elections in 2018. Turnout was 68.29 per cent in 2013, and 62.05 per cent in 2008.
Guna Assembly Election 2018 and 2013
In 2018, Gopilal Jatav of the BJP won the seat with 84,149 votes (56.81 per cent).
Pannalal Shakya of the BJP won the seat with 45,111 votes (34.45 per cent) in 2013. Pannalal received 62.2 per cent of the votes cast.
In the 2008 Assembly elections, BJSH won this seat by a margin of 12,934 votes (15.96 per cent), collecting 36.45 per cent of the total votes cast.
