Khargapur (Madhya Pradesh) Assembly Election 2023: On November 17, 2023, Madhya Pradesh will hold elections for its 230 Assembly seats. On December 3, 2023, the election results will be made public.

Khargapur is a Madhya Pradesh State Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency that is part of the Tikamgarh (SC) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Khargapur is located in Madhya Pradesh's Tikamgarh district and Vindhya Pradesh region. It is classified as a rural seat.

The seat has a total of 2,18,334 voters, with 1,16,044 male voters and 1,02,289 female voters. Khargapur had a voting turnout of 72.94 per cent in the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections. Turnout was 68.67 per cent in 2013, and 66.8 per cent in 2008.

Khargapur Assembly Election 2018 and 2013

In 2018, Rahul Singh Lodhi of BJP won the seat by 63,066 votes (39.49 per cent).

Chanda - Surendra Singh Gaur of the INC won the seat by a margin of 5,677 votes (4.02 per cent) in 2013. Surendra Singh Gaur received 42.32 per cent of the total votes cast.

BJSH won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections by a margin of 1,006 votes (0.94 per cent), accounting for 22.33 per cent of all votes cast.
