Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while speaking on the early trends, credited PM Modi’s vote appeal to people in the state for BJP’s decisive lead in the Assembly elections. Talking to the media, CM Chouhan said the trend, which shows the saffron party leading in MP, is the result of PM Modi’s appeal which touched the hearts of people.

“Modi ji is in the mind of MP while MP is in the mind of Modi Ji. His appeals to people in rallies touched their hearts. These trends are a result of that. Double engine government helped the implementation of Central schemes in the state,” he said.
CM Chouhan also hailed his schemes of the state government. “State schemes from Laadli Behen to Laadli Lakshmi and welfare schemes for farmers touched the hearts of people. I had said earlier too that the BJP would get a comfortable and grand majority as people's love for us was visible everywhere," he added.

Earlier, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan, while speaking on exit polls on Thursday, said the result of the state Assembly election will be unexpected and unprecedented. When asked about post-poll survey numbers surpassing his predictions in the past, Chouhan said he was cautious while speaking but he knew the result would be unexpected as he got massive support from women in the state.

The counting of votes began at 8 am for the high-stakes state assembly polls, which were held in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana this November. BJP is leading in Madhya Pradesh on 136 seats out of 230 seats.
