Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023: The Election Commission announced the date for the Rajasthan assembly polls. According to the poll body, the election will be held on November 25 and the counting will be held on December 3.

Jayal is one of the 200 state assembly constituencies in Rajasthan and is part of the Nagaur Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency.

Jayal is in Rajasthan's West District and Nagaur District. This seat is classified as rural.

There are 1,20,306 male and 1,11,461 female voters in the seat, for a total of 2,31,767 voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Jayal saw 68.92 per cent of voters cast ballots. The turnout was 58.1 per cent in 2008 and 69.04 per cent in 2013.

In 2018, Manju Devi of the Indian National Congress won the seat by 68415 (41.17 per cent) votes. Dr Manju Baghmar of the BJP won the seat by a margin of 13,109 votes (9.31 per cent) in 2013. Dr. Manju Baghmar received 51.68 per cent of the votes cast.
