Dornakal Assembly Election 2023: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on October 9 announced the dates of polls for Telangana. According to the dates, the polls in Telangana will be held in one phase on November 30 and the results will be announced on December 3. Meanwhile, Dornakal is an assembly constituency in Telangana.
The Dornakal seat is currently held by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), and it comes under Mahabubabad district of Telangana. During the 2018 elections, TRS candidate Dharam Soth Redya Naik won the seat and defeated Jatoth Ram Chandru Naik of the Indian National Congress (INC). The TRS leader registered a victory by a margin of 17,381 votes.

Dornakal Assembly Election 2014
During the 2014 assembly elections, Indian National Congress (INC) candidate DS Redya Naik registered victory by a margin of 23,531 votes and defeated the TRS candidate Sathyavathi Rathod. While DS Redya Naik got a total of 84,170 votes, Sathyavathi Rathod secured 60,639 votes.
Dornakal Assembly Election 2009
During the 2009 elections, the seat was won by TDP's Satyavathi Rathod who got 69,282 votes and defeated INC candidate Dharamsoth Redya Naik by a margin of 4,623 votes. Dharamsoth Redya Naik secured a total of 64,659 votes.
