Nalgonda Assembly Election 2023: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday announced the dates of polls for Telangana. According to the dates, the polls in Telangana will be held in one phase on November 30 and the results will be announced on December 3. Meanwhile, Nalgonda is an assembly constituency in Telangana.

The Nalgonda seat is currently held by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), and it comes under the Nalgonda district of the state. During the 2018 assembly elections, TRS candidate Kancharla Bhupal Reddy won the seat and Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy of the Indian National Congress (INC). The TRS leader registered a victory by a margin of 23,698 votes.

Nalgonda Assembly Election 2014

During the 2014 elections, the seat was won by INC's Komatireddy Venkat Reddy who got 60,774 votes and defeated the independent candidate Kancharla Bhupal Reddy by a margin of 10,547 votes. Rao secured a total of 50,227 votes.

Nalgonda Assembly Election 2009

During the 2009 assembly elections, INC's Komatireddy Venkat Reddy registered victory by a margin of 8,377 votes and defeated Nandyala Narsimha Reddy of CPM. While Komatireddy Venkat Reddy got a total of 60,665 votes, Nandyala Narsimha Reddy secured 52,288 votes.
