Warangal East Assembly Election 2023: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on October 9 announced the dates of polls for Telangana. According to the dates, the polls in Telangana will be held in one phase on November 30 and the results will be announced on December 3. Meanwhile, Warangal East is an assembly constituency in Telangana.
The Warangal East seat is currently held by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), and it comes under the Warangal Urban district of Telangana State. During the 2018 elections, TRS candidate Narendar Nannapuneni won the seat and defeated Ravi Chandra Vaddiraju of the Indian National Congress (INC). The TRS leader registered a victory by a margin of 28,782 votes.
Warangal East Assembly Election 2014
During the 2014 assembly elections, TRS candidate Konda Surekha registered victory by a margin of 55,085 votes and defeated the INC candidate Baswaraju Saraiah. While Konda Surekha got a total of 88,641 votes, Baswaraju Saraiah secured 33,556 votes.

Warangal East Assembly Election 2009
During the 2009 elections, the seat was won by INC's Baswaraju Saraiah who got 41,952 votes and defeated PRAP candidate Errabelli Pradeep Kumar Rao by a margin of 7,255 votes. Errabelli Pradeep Kumar Rao secured a total of 34,697 votes.
