2024 MAMA Awards: The Kpop awards night is set to begin with a bang, as an electrifying lineup of Kpop stars will deliver a special opening theme performance. On November 15, organizers revealed that TXT’s Yeonjun, aespa’s Karina, IVE’s Rei, TREASURE’s Yoshi and ZEROBASEONE’s Hanbin will collaborate for the opening stage. This exciting performance will take place on November 22 at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, as part of the event's intriguing theme, BIG BLUR: What is Real?
The opening theme will explore the concept of blurred boundaries between reality and virtuality, reflecting today’s digital age, where artificial intelligence and technology increasingly influence culture and creativity. Each performer will bring their unique style to the stage, combining music, visuals, and choreography for a groundbreaking show.

This year, the MAMA Awards will kick off on November 21 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, marking its first-ever U.S. event. The festivities will then move to Osaka for two nights on November 22 and 23 at the Kyocera Dome. The second night will feature a special segment led by actress Kim Tae Ri, accompanied by surprise artists who will continue the exploration of the BIG BLUR theme.
