2024 MAMA Awards Nominations: The anticipation surrounding the 2024 MAMA Awards has reached new heights with the announcement of this year's nominations. As Kpop continues to make waves globally, fans are eager to see which artists and albums will be recognized in this landmark edition of the awards.

This year's ceremony introduces significant changes to enhance the recognition of artistry within the Kpop industry. Notably, the Best Choreography category has been added, shining a spotlight on the crucial role choreographers play in creating captivating performances. This new award aims to honour those behind the scenes who craft the intricate dance routines that Kpop is famous for, acknowledging their creative vision and contribution to the genre's appeal.

In addition to this fresh category, the Album of the Year judging criteria have undergone a major revamp. Historically determined by sales figures, the evaluation now includes a broader range of factors. The new criteria will assess production quality, visual artistry, the strength of individual tracks and the overall impact of the album on the music industry. This shift reflects a deeper understanding of success in the modern music landscape, prioritizing creativity and influence over mere sales numbers.

The 2024 MAMA Awards will take place on November 21 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, marking the first time the awards will be held in the United States. Following the Hollywood event, the celebrations will continue at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, on November 22 and 23.

Voting for the 2024 MAMA Awards will begin on October 14 at 7 PM KST (3:30 PM IST).
